Ibiza has a new flea market which takes place every Sunday from 10:00 at Cala Lenya in the area of Sant Carlos. Within some weeks of existence only it became a popular hot spot for Islanders and every Sunday you can meet there hundreds of nice people, and thousands of things “de segunda mano”.
Whatever you are looking for – it’s worth it checking out the new Sunday’s mercadillo: clothes, books, housing and decoration, electronic devices and much more are offered at small prices at more than 100 stands. When the weather is fine the market reaches its capacity of 120 stands. So bring some time with you when you visit the market!
There is also a restaurant and a bar, and if you like German “Wurst”- specialities then you will be the most happiest person when you try the “Bratwurst”, “Currywurst” or “hausgemachte Frikadellen”.
The market is easy to find: at Anitas Bar in Sant Carlos turn right and follow the road to Cala Lenya until you see an yellow sign saying “mercadillo” where you turn right. Parking is no problem.
